Who ARE you?
Hi !
I’m Monica. I love dancing badly, bubble machines and bringing out others’ inner light along with comfort/confidence in themselves.
I was 2 months pregnant when I started my 500 hour Pilates Instructor certification program and was 8 months pregnant when I became fully certified. I had a VERY hard re-entry into the world after giving birth to my son. I was younger, I’d done Pilates 3x/week throughout my pregnancy and thought I was GOOD TO GO in my postpartum journey! (Cue the laughter of both myself and the mom reading this.)
I found I had so many massive changes of my physical body that doctors really had no advice for and gave me little to no help with. Everything felt different. I quickly realized how little information the everyday fitness studio has on the postpartum body ESPECIALLY when it came to dos and don’ts in Pilates for various issues. I decided this is where I want my focus to be. I went after a separate certification for prenatal/postpartum anatomy and corrective exercises. It blew my mind.
So here I am sharing what I’ve learned and helping you strengthen your mind/body connection. You’ll find tips and support that will help you in any form of exercise that you choose in the future. After all, once you give birth, you are forever postpartum.
